As a Donor Recruitment Account Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our lifesaving mission by cultivating and managing relationships with blood donors.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing blood donors.
  2. Reach out to community organizations, businesses, and individuals to educate them about the importance of blood donation and to encourage them to become regular donors.
  3. Plan and execute blood drives in collaboration with community partners.
  4. Utilize sales techniques to persuade potential donors to make a commitment to donate blood.
  5. Work with the recruitment team to develop and implement donor retention strategies.
  6. Track and report on donor recruitment and retention efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive donor experience.
  8. Collaborate with other departments within the American Red Cross to promote blood donation and support the organization's overall mission.
  9. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's policies, procedures, and goals to effectively represent the American Red Cross to potential donors.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in donor recruitment to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  11. Meet and exceed recruitment goals by effectively managing time, resources, and donor relationships.
  12. Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and donations.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Represent the American Red Cross at community events, meetings, and conferences to promote blood donation and the organization's mission.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy donation experience for donors and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Donor Recruitment Or Sales, Preferably In The Non-Profit Sector.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Donors And Community Partners.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Fundraising Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Blood Donation Processes And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Donor Databases And Crm Systems.
