Donor Notification Specialist

Obtain and perform data entry of test results into NBCS or other databases. Monitor the scheduled receipt of additional test results and investigate and reconcile any delays. Interact with other staff and hospital customers collaboratively to ensure product standards, recipient safety, and availability of autologous products to the donor. Obtain and distribute additional test results to internal staff within required timelines. Manually enter the additional test results into electronic databases. Generate donor notification materials from all applicable databases and assemble donor notification packets for review. Prepare and complete state and military notifications according to applicable state laws or Department of Defense requirements. Provide approved donor notification packets to donors and outside agencies as required according to approved mailing, faxing, or other electronic methods in congruence with all timelines.
