
Donor Center Phlebotomist

- Collect blood donations from donors at our donor centers.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable donation experience for donors.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of donations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of blood donations.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on phlebotomy techniques and procedures.

Current Phlebotomy Certification: The Donor Center Phlebotomist Must Possess A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From A Reputable Organization, Such As The American Society Of Phlebotomy Technicians Or The National Phlebotomy Association.
Experience In Blood Collection: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Blood Collection, Preferably In A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Environment.
Knowledge Of Blood Collection Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of The Various Procedures Involved In Blood Collection, Including Venipuncture, Fingerstick, And Arm Preparation, Is Essential For This Role.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Donor Center Phlebotomist Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Donors And Ensuring Their Comfort And Safety During The Donation Process. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours: This Role May Require Working Evening, Weekend, And Holiday Shifts, Depending On The Needs Of The Donor Center. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Accommodate A Flexible Schedule.
