- Maintain confidentiality of donor information and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
Relevant Education And Certification: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required, Along With A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From A Recognized Institution.
Experience In Phlebotomy: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Phlebotomy, Preferably In A Blood Collection Or Donor Center Setting.
Knowledge Of Blood Collection Procedures: Familiarity With Blood Collection Equipment And Techniques, As Well As Safety Protocols And Infection Control Measures.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: Ability To Interact With Donors In A Friendly And Professional Manner, And Provide Clear Instructions And Information Throughout The Donation Process.
Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Ability To Collect, Label, And Process Blood Samples Accurately, While Adhering To Strict Quality And Regulatory Standards Set By The American Red Cross.
