Disaster Services Supervisor

1. Oversee and coordinate all disaster response operations, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
2. Manage a team of volunteers and ensure proper training, support, and guidance is provided.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and partner organizations.
4. Develop and implement strategies to effectively respond to disasters and provide relief and support to affected individuals and communities.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster response efforts and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and impactful operations.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for all disaster-related inquiries and requests for assistance.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all disaster response activities and resources.
8. Collaborate with other departments within the American Red Cross to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to disaster response.
9. Stay current on disaster response best practices and trends, and incorporate new techniques and strategies into operations.
10. Represent the American Red Cross in meetings, events, and media engagements related to disaster response.
11. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
12. Communicate regularly with superiors, team members, and other stakeholders to provide updates, seek guidance and support, and address any issues or concerns.
13. Lead and participate in trainings and drills to prepare for potential disasters and maintain readiness.
14. Provide guidance and support to affected individuals and communities, including emotional support and referrals to additional resources.
15. Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
