- Maintain accurate inventory levels of blood collection supplies.
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies to donation sites.
- Monitor and track supply usage to inform ordering decisions.
- Communicate with donation sites to assess supply needs and address any issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to efficiently manage supply inventory and distribution.
- Receive and inspect incoming supply shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of supplies to ensure they are easily accessible.
- Keep detailed records of supply inventory, usage, and distribution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply management procedures.
- Identify and report any supply shortages or issues to management.
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and maintain relationships.
- Train and support new team members on supply management processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when handling blood products.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss supply needs and strategies.
- Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross in all interactions and tasks.
Bachelor's Degree In Library Science, Archives Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Managing Collections In A Museum, Library, Or Archive Setting.
Knowledge Of Best Practices For Cataloging, Preservation, And Conservation Of Various Types Of Materials.
Experience With Database Management Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
