Clinical Nurse Specialist
Act as a clinical consultant to the ordering physician in the treatment planning process. Perform Apheresis procedures autonomously in multiple settings including critical care, emergency room, and freestanding outpatient centers. Perform venipunctures, access central venous catheters, and access vortex and bard ports. Act as a consultant to external health care personnel about clinical apheresis. The American Red Cross will provide all necessary training.
Current CPR certification required.
A minimum of two years’ experience in medical/surgical or critical care nursing, or related experience, is preferred.
Registered Nurse with current state licensure as required.
Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are preferred.
