- Schedule blood donation appointments for donors, taking into account availability and location preferences.
- Communicate with donors via phone, email, and other communication channels to confirm and reschedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor information and appointment schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all donors, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a steady supply of blood donations and meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals.
- Utilize computer systems and databases to input and track donor information and appointment schedules.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of the blood donation process.
- Keep up-to-date with current blood donation policies and procedures, as well as any changes or updates.
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff members for the call center team.
- Work closely with other departments within the American Red Cross, such as the donor recruitment team, to coordinate and schedule blood drives.
