  1. Store and distribute blood products in accordance with strict safety and quality standards set by the American Red Cross.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all blood products in storage and those distributed to hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
  3. Ensure proper storage conditions for all blood products, including temperature and humidity control, to maintain their viability and safety.
  4. Perform routine inventory checks to ensure an adequate supply of blood products and report any shortages or discrepancies to superiors.
  5. Prepare blood products for distribution by labeling, packaging, and completing necessary documentation.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and fulfill orders for blood products from hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
  7. Utilize specialized equipment and software to track and monitor the storage and distribution of blood products.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
  9. Assist with the transportation of blood products to and from different locations as needed.
  10. Participate in training and continuing education programs to stay updated on best practices and regulations related to blood product storage and distribution.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and external partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of blood products.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and healthcare professionals.
  13. Adhere to all policies and guidelines set by the American Red Cross and regulatory agencies regarding blood product storage and distribution.
  14. Proactively identify and report any potential issues or concerns related to blood product storage and distribution to superiors.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, and a commitment to the mission of the American Red Cross.
