  1. Receive, inspect, and store blood products in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper rotation of blood products to minimize waste.
  3. Prepare and package blood products for distribution to hospitals and other medical facilities.
  4. Follow strict safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the integrity and quality of blood products.
  5. Monitor and maintain proper storage temperatures and conditions for blood products.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient distribution of blood products.
  7. Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  8. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  9. Respond to urgent requests and emergencies to facilitate the timely delivery of blood products.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills related to blood product storage and distribution.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized storage facility to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any issues or concerns related to blood product storage and distribution.
  13. Adhere to all confidentiality guidelines and HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the storage and distribution of blood products.
  15. Represent the American Red Cross and its mission in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biological Sciences Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Or Laboratory Setting
