  1. Process and store blood products according to established guidelines and protocols.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of blood products at all times.
  3. Pack and label blood products for transportation to hospitals and other medical facilities.
  4. Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination of blood products.
  5. Keep detailed and accurate records of all blood products, including expiration dates and lot numbers.
  6. Communicate with medical staff and other team members to ensure timely delivery of blood products.
  7. Perform quality control checks to ensure the integrity and safety of all blood products.
  8. Assist with training and mentoring new team members on blood product storage and distribution procedures.
  9. Maintain proper storage temperatures and conditions for different types of blood products.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures related to blood product storage and distribution.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  12. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the storage and distribution processes.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to donors, recipients, and other stakeholders.
  14. Handle and resolve any issues or concerns related to blood product storage and distribution.
  15. Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies related to blood product storage and distribution.
  16. Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross in all job duties and interactions.
