
Blood Collection Staff - Customer Service

- Greet and welcome blood donors in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ensure a positive and efficient experience for all blood donors.
- Assist with donor registration and paperwork, including verifying donor eligibility.
- Educate donors on the importance of blood donation and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disinfecting and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Monitor donor flow and assist with managing wait times to ensure a smooth donation process.
- Handle donor inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless donation process.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of donors and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, going above and beyond to meet donor needs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the organization's mission, values, and services.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure knowledge of current processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to donor interactions and donations.
- Identify and report any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by treating all donors and colleagues with respect and dignity.
Demonstrated Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
Proficiency In Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures, With Experience In Blood Collection Preferred.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Range Of Individuals.
Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy When Collecting And Handling Blood Samples.
Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Knowledge Of Infection Control And Safety Protocols.
