  1. Interact with blood donors in a professional and empathetic manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive donation experience.
  2. Accurately collect and label blood samples from donors, following established protocols and safety procedures.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized donation site, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked.
  4. Communicate effectively with donors to educate them on the donation process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and scheduling appointments.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the donation site.
  7. Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the American Red Cross and regulatory agencies.
  8. Handle and store blood products according to established guidelines to maintain their integrity and safety.
  9. Keep up-to-date with training and certifications required for the position, including CPR and first aid.
  10. Conduct donor recruitment activities, including outreach and promotion of blood donation events.
  11. Utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the donation process.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling donor information.
  13. Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay informed about new policies, procedures, and updates.
  14. Represent the American Red Cross in a professional and positive manner, promoting the organization's mission and values.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and donor satisfaction.
