  4. Educate donors on the importance of blood donation, potential risks, and post-donation care.
  5. Utilize excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for donors and ensure their comfort and well-being during the donation process.
  6. Follow established procedures for record-keeping and documentation of donor information, test results, and any adverse reactions.
  7. Monitor donor reactions and respond quickly and appropriately to any adverse events.
  8. Collaborate with other Blood Collection Staff and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  9. Adhere to all regulatory and quality standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and FDA regulations.
  10. Attend training and continuing education sessions to maintain and improve knowledge and skills related to blood collection and donor care.
  11. Participate in recruitment and retention efforts to support the ongoing need for blood donations.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to donors and blood products.
  13. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the American Red Cross.
  14. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support blood drives and meet donation goals.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
