Blood Collection Specialist

American Red Cross is seeking an experienced and dedicated Blood Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations from donors and ensuring that the blood is safely and accurately processed in accordance with applicable standards. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping others through their work.The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a laboratory or medical environment. A valid driver’s license and experience using computer/data systems is also required. Additionally, you must have a solid understanding of sterile techniques, anatomical structure, and clinical laboratory operations. Being able to effectively communicate with donors and staff is a must.
