
Area Booking Manager

- Manage and coordinate all facility and equipment bookings for Red Cross events and activities in the designated area.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient event planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, including availability, costs, and logistics.
- Work closely with event coordinators to understand their specific needs and ensure that all necessary equipment and facilities are secured.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and address any potential conflicts or challenges related to facility and equipment bookings.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all facilities and equipment meet Red Cross standards and are suitable for the planned events.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with facility and equipment providers to achieve cost savings for the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the availability and quality of services.
- Create and distribute event schedules and ensure that all bookings are properly coordinated and executed.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on booking activities, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Train and supervise a team of booking assistants to support the overall booking process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the booking process.
- Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross in all interactions and activities.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Event Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management.
Experience In Budget Management And Negotiating Contracts With Vendors.
Knowledge Of Emergency Response And Disaster Preparedness Is Preferred.
