As the Area Booking Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the booking of facilities and equipment for Red Cross events and activities in your designated area.   1. Manage and coordinate all facility and equipment bookings for Red Cross events and activities in the designated area.
  2. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient event planning and execution.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, including availability, costs, and logistics.
  4. Work closely with event coordinators to understand their specific needs and ensure that all necessary equipment and facilities are secured.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and address any potential conflicts or challenges related to facility and equipment bookings.
  6. Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all facilities and equipment meet Red Cross standards and are suitable for the planned events.
  7. Negotiate contracts and rates with facility and equipment providers to achieve cost savings for the organization.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the availability and quality of services.
  9. Create and distribute event schedules and ensure that all bookings are properly coordinated and executed.
  10. Provide timely and accurate reports on booking activities, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  11. Train and supervise a team of booking assistants to support the overall booking process.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the booking process.
  13. Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Event Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Management.

  • Experience In Budget Management And Negotiating Contracts With Vendors.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Response And Disaster Preparedness Is Preferred.
