
Area Booking Manager

- Manage and oversee the booking and scheduling of facilities and resources for events and programs within the designated area.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of bookings and schedules.
- Proactively identify potential conflicts and make necessary adjustments to avoid scheduling issues.
- Communicate with event organizers and stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure their needs are met.
- Train and supervise a team of booking coordinators to ensure smooth operation of the booking process.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the booking process and increase efficiency.
- Monitor and manage the budget for booking and scheduling activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to booking and scheduling.
- Represent the American Red Cross in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Collaborate with other Area Booking Managers to share best practices and coordinate bookings for larger events.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's mission and values, and ensure all booking activities align with them.
- Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise during the booking process in a timely and effective manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline the booking process.
- Attend relevant meetings and trainings to stay informed on organizational updates and changes.
- Handle any other duties or tasks related to booking and scheduling as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Planning And Management.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Knowledge Of Budgeting And Financial Management.
Ability To Work Flexible Hours And Travel As Needed.
