  1. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and software.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems and software.
  3. Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new desktop solutions.
  4. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  5. Provide technical support to end users and assist with training on new systems and software.
  6. Document processes and procedures for desktop engineering tasks.
  7. Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  8. Assist with inventory management and procurement of desktop equipment and software.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and compliance standards.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to prioritize and complete tasks.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential desktop engineering issues and propose solutions.
  12. Attend team meetings and actively contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency.
  13. Adhere to project timelines and work efficiently to meet deadlines.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Operating Systems, Software Installation, Network Troubleshooting, And Hardware Maintenance.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards: A Good Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices In Desktop Engineering Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Itil Processes And Microsoft Certifications.

  • Communication Skills: As An Intern, The Candidate Will Work Closely With The Desktop Engineering Team And Other Departments Within The Company. Effective Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
