Job Description

American Family Insurance is looking for a highly motivated and organized HR Analyst to join our growing team. This individual should be an excellent communicator and possess strong analytical skills to help with daily HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Human Resources and strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.The HR Analyst will be responsible for providing meaningful insights on people data, analyzing trends and proposing solutions. The successful candidate should have a strong background in Human Resources, preferably with experience in employee engagement and development. Additionally, this person must have a strong understanding of HRIS systems and be able to develop reports using Excel and other reporting tools.We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate should have a positive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze HR data and provide meaningful insights on employee trends and performance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and development.
  3. Collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives.
  4. Develop reports and dashboards using Excel, as well as other reporting tools.
  5. Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accuracy of data.
  6. Monitor and track employee attendance and performance.
  7. Assist with recruitment initiatives, including job postings and candidate selection.
  8. Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Remain up-to-date on changes in HR best practices and trends.
