VP-Communications

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and experienced VP-Communications to join our team at American Express. Our ideal candidate has a deep commitment to leading a world-class communications team and will be an inspiring leader of our company's messaging and engagement efforts.The VP-Communications will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, integrated, and innovative communications strategy to support American Express’s business goals. This role will also lead the work of the communications team, partnering with senior leaders across the organization to ensure that our messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.To be successful in this role, you must have at least 10+ years of communications experience, a track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies, excellent writing and speaking skills, and a passion for storytelling. Experience in the financial services industry and/or working in a corporate environment is strongly preferred.
