
Staff Engineer - AI Services & Governance
Drive AI Services & Governance Engineering vision, strategy, and execution across Amex. Responsible for developing and defining deployment strategies for AI services & governance in Cloud infrastructure. Drive both high-level and detailed technical designs and conduct design reviews as needed. Responsible for health and quality of the code across the portfolio, including leadership over SCM, functional testing, and CI/CD tool integration. Provide technical mentorship to Engineers at all levels. Work closely with product owners, technology senior leadership and peers to define solution requirements and technical implementation approach.
10+ years full lifecycle product development and engineering leadership experience
Experience building and delivering sophisticated platforms that leverage various machine learning algorithms or technologies
Hands-on Experience with GCP and/or AWS is a plus.
