Job Description

Working on multiple simultaneous audit engagements of all sizes and complexity across first and second line of defense business functions. Developing an understanding of consumer compliance risks, controls, and processes through interviews of key personnel, reviewing documentary support (e.g. policies, procedures, flowcharts, reports, exhibits, etc.), and performing control walkthroughs to evaluate control design. Performing control, transactional, and analytical testing to conclude on control operating effectiveness. Identifying, documenting, and calling out audit observations, findings, and recommendations. Using automated work papers and other department and company tools in a proficient manner. Preparing materials for (and participating in) routine audit client status meetings, coordinating audit requests for meetings and materials, and performing other administrative tasks. Building and retaining subject matter expertise related to consumer compliance and conduct risk laws, regulations, and requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in consumer regulatory compliance, internal or external audit, or similar role

  • Proven integrity, accountability, responsibility, and personal motivation to set and meet goals and objectives

  • Audit, consumer compliance, or other relevant professional certifications, such as the Certified Internal Auditor
