Job Description

As a Senior Special Agent in American Express' Cyber Crime Investigation team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive security and investigation services to the organization. You will be a key part of the team, ensuring that all cyber crime threats are identified, investigated, and addressed as quickly and efficiently as possible.We are looking for a passionate, highly organized, and results-driven individual who has the skills and experience to provide leadership and superior customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have extensive knowledge of federal and state cyber crime laws and regulations, and you must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing complex investigative projects, and you must be able to work independently and in a team environment.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least five years of experience in cyber crime investigation, and a valid law enforcement certification. In addition to these qualifications, you must also have a professional and courteous attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and investigate cyber crime threats, utilizing appropriate investigative procedures and techniques.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for prevention, detection, and response to cyber crime threats.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement, government and industry partners to ensure the success of cyber crime investigations.
  4. Review and analyze computer and network data to identify evidence of cyber crimes.
  5. Prepare and present reports to management to explain the findings of cyber crime investigations.
  6. Monitor changes in cyber crime laws and regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  7. Develop and deliver training materials related to cyber crime prevention and investigation.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of cyber crime investigations.
  9. Work collaboratively with other members of the Cyber Crime Investigation team to ensure the efficient and effective resolution of cyber crime cases.
  10. Document and track all cyber crime investigations and provide regular status updates.
