  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect American Express and its customers from potential threats.
  2. Lead and manage a team of risk management professionals to ensure the implementation and execution of risk management strategies.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in the company's operations and systems.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to proactively identify and address potential risks.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Monitor and analyze data to identify potential risk areas and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
  8. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on risk management policies and procedures.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure the effectiveness of risk management strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the company's risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  12. Develop and maintain crisis management plans to address potential threats and minimize their impact on the company.
  13. Foster a culture of risk management awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
  14. Continuously review and update risk management policies and procedures to adapt to changing business needs and industry standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business, Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Risk Management Principles, Techniques, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Assess And Mitigate Potential Risks To The Company.
