  1. Develop and implement strategic pricing initiatives to drive growth and profitability for American Express merchants.
  2. Lead the analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends and opportunities for pricing optimization.
  3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  5. Utilize a deep understanding of customer and merchant needs to develop innovative and competitive pricing solutions.
  6. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making adjustments as needed to meet business objectives.
  7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in pricing strategy and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Communicate pricing strategies and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  9. Train and mentor team members on pricing strategy and best practices.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key merchants and industry partners to gather insights and inform pricing strategies.
  11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to pricing.
  12. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the pricing strategy team.
