- Develop and implement innovative learning programs and initiatives to enhance the technical capabilities and skills of American Express employees.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and gaps, and design tailored learning solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses, and job aids.
- Conduct regular training needs assessments to ensure that learning programs align with the organization's strategic goals and technology trends.
- Track and measure the impact of learning programs, and use data to continuously improve and enhance their effectiveness.
- Manage the budget and resources for learning programs, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
- Act as a subject matter expert in technology learning and development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide coaching and support to employees and managers to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and alignment of learning programs across different regions.
- Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the design and delivery of learning programs.
- Proactively identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges that may impact the success of the learning programs.
- Represent American Express at external events and conferences to promote our learning and development initiatives and share best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Instructional Design, Human Resources, Or Computer Science.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Program Management, Specifically In The Technology Learning And Development Space.
Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Experience Developing Technology-Focused Training Programs.
Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Strict Deadlines.
Familiarity With Learning Management Systems And Other Technology Tools Used In Training And Development, Such As Virtual Classrooms And E-Learning Platforms.
