1. Develop and implement security measures and protocols to protect American Express applications and systems from cyber threats.
2. Oversee the cyber operations and assurance processes to ensure the security of our applications and systems.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and assess risks.
4. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential security breaches.
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our security measures.
6. Communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.

9. Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic for any suspicious activity.
10. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.

12. Train employees on security best practices and protocols.
13. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all security measures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
14. Participate in security incident response and remediation efforts.
15. Report on the status of application security and cyber operations to senior management.
