
Manager - Accounting
At American Express, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager - Accounting to join our team. As Manager - Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting activities of the company. This position requires excellent organizational, financial, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting activities for the company.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor cash flow and budgeting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and laws.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure accuracy of calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Excellent Communication
