Extensive Knowledge Of Bank Regulatory Laws And Regulations: A Director And Counsel At American Express Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Various Laws And Regulations That Govern The Banking Industry, Including But Not Limited To The Bank Secrecy Act, Dodd-Frank Act, And Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Regulations.
Legal Expertise And Experience: This Role Requires A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Legal Experience, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Providing Legal Advice And Guidance To Financial Institutions On Regulatory Matters.
Leadership And Strategic Thinking: As A Director And Counsel, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Providing Strategic Direction On Bank Regulatory Matters. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
