  1. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns related to their credit card accounts.
  2. Utilize active listening skills to understand and address customer needs.
  3. Provide accurate and personalized solutions to resolve customer issues and promote customer satisfaction.
  4. Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of American Express products, services, and policies in order to effectively assist customers.
  5. Handle a high volume of customer interactions in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and quality customer service is provided.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex customer issues.
  10. Maintain customer records and document all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Fluency In Both Dutch And English: As A Customer Care Professional At American Express, One Of The Main Responsibilities Will Be To Communicate With Dutch And English-Speaking Customers. Therefore, Fluency In Both Languages Is Essential For Effectively Assisting Customers And Addressing Their Concerns.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Customer Care Professional At American Express Requires The Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints In A Timely And Efficient Manner. This Requires Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Credit Products And Services: American Express Is A Credit Card Company, So A Thorough Understanding Of Their Credit Products And Services Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of The Various Features, Benefits, And Terms And Conditions Of Different Credit Cards.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Customers, A Customer Care Professional Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Build Rapport With Customers. This Includes Active Listening, Empathy, And The Ability To Adapt Communication Style To Different Customers.

  • Prior Customer Service Experience: While Not Always Required, Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Highly Beneficial For A Customer Care Professional At American Express. This Experience Helps To Develop Skills Such As Conflict Resolution, Customer Relationship Management, And Multi-Tasking, All Of Which Are Essential For This Job.
