  1. Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing credit risk policies and controls to identify potential gaps or areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency of credit risk policies and controls across all business units.
  4. Monitor and analyze credit risk metrics and trends, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Lead and oversee the execution of credit risk governance and control projects, including identifying project scope, timelines, and resources.
  6. Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively identify potential impacts on credit risk management.
  7. Communicate and collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on credit risk management activities and recommendations.
  8. Train and mentor team members on credit risk policies and controls, ensuring their understanding and adherence to established guidelines.
  9. Prepare and present reports and presentations on credit risk management activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  10. Continuously assess and improve credit risk governance and control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to credit risk management.
  12. Participate in industry forums and events to stay informed about current trends and best practices in credit risk management.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on credit risk governance and controls, providing guidance and support to other teams and departments as needed.
  14. Identify and escalate potential or existing credit risks to senior management and work towards developing mitigation strategies.
  15. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the organization by promoting best practices and providing guidance on credit risk management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Credit Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Credit Risk Governance Frameworks And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Credit Risk Controls And Monitoring Processes.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Communicate Complex Concepts To A Non-Technical Audience.
