
Analyst, Merchant Onboarding & KYC

- Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a seamless experience for both the merchant and American Express.
- Conduct thorough KYC checks, reviewing documentation and verifying information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the onboarding or KYC process, working with relevant teams to find solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all merchant onboarding and KYC activities, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, risk management, and legal, to streamline and improve the onboarding and KYC processes.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to merchant onboarding and KYC, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to merchants, responding to inquiries and providing support throughout the onboarding and KYC processes.
- Communicate and report on the status of merchant onboarding and KYC activities to stakeholders, including management and compliance teams.
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues in the onboarding and KYC processes and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Train and mentor new team members on the merchant onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring a high level of knowledge and expertise within the team.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
2-3 Years Of Experience In Merchant Onboarding And/Or Kyc In The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Kyc Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
