
Event Coordinator

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has experience in budgeting, vendor management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently to ensure all events are successful.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, business, or a related field• At least two years of experience in event planning and coordination• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Ability to work under pressure and multitask• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills• Demonstrated ability to think quickly and work independentlyIf you possess the qualifications and enthusiasm to fill this role, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution for American Express Global Business Travel • Develop and manage event budgets • Establish relationships with vendors to ensure successful event execution • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction • Manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, catering, etc. • Negotiate contracts and secure permits and licenses, as needed • Ensure that all events are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Develop creative and innovative ideas to enhance event experiences • Monitor event progress and ensure smooth operations • Analyze event data to measure success and identify areas for improvement • Communicate with event stakeholders to ensure successful event completion
