Job Description

At American Express Global Business Travel, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our growing team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of event planning and management, ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills. You should be a creative and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute comprehensive event plans for corporate events, conferences, and other meetings

-Secure venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendors

-Manage budget and track expenses associated with events

-Create and distribute promotional materials for events, including websites, brochures, and flyers

-Coordinate all aspects of event production, including catering, audio/visual, and transportation

-Ensure compliance with all safety and legal regulations

-Manage event logistics, including registration, check-in, and accommodations

-Evaluate event success and prepare reports for management

-Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues as they arise

-Manage all event inquiries and communications with stakeholders
