Job Description

The American Dental Association is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter/Onboarding Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as experience in recruiting and onboarding. This individual should be detail-oriented and well-versed in the hiring process, and be able to make a positive impact on the company’s recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working with a diverse group of people. If you have a passion for recruitment and onboarding, and think you would be a great fit for this role, we’d love to hear from you.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting and onboarding• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related recruiting and onboarding software• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute recruiting and onboarding strategies to meet the organization's hiring needs.
  2. Source and recruit qualified candidates for open positions.
  3. Review and screen resumes and applications.
  4. Schedule and conduct interviews with candidates.
  5. Negotiate job offers and coordinate onboarding activities.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other sources of potential candidates.
  7. Remain up to date with recruitment tools and trends.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment and onboarding activities.
  10. Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities.
