Job Description

The Manager oversees and executes all aspects of accreditation for over 300 dental hygiene education programs. Developing policy reports and completing post-meeting follow-up. Preparing accreditation site visit reports and correspondence, monitoring and processing accreditation applications and program reports, and providing related responses and general correspondence. Maintaining current, accurate accreditation documents, templates and files, ensuring electronic records are up to date, and public information is available on the Commission’s website. Formulating and implementing polices related to dental hygiene education; 6) utilizing research and Commission policy to make appropriate decisions. Maintaining site visitor documents, and developing and providing training and information to CODA volunteers.

Job Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in/with higher education, accreditation or its equivalent

  • Supervisory experience of groups or work committees, working with a large number of volunteers and tracking details

  • Knowledge of dentistry

  • Occupational experience with an accreditation agency, preferably in the healthcare field.
