Job Description

This position provides the primary staff support for five (5) advanced dental education disciplines (dental public health, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics). Preparing accreditation site visit reports and correspondence, monitoring and processing accreditation applications and program reports, and providing related responses and general correspondence. Formulating and implementing polices related to dental education; 6) utilizing research and Commission policy to make appropriate decisions. Providing continuity and consistency in understanding, interpreting and applying Commission policies and standards necessary to act as a resource for programs, site visitors and Commission volunteers.

Job Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in/with higher education, accreditation or its equivalent

  • Evening and weekend work may be necessary while traveling for CODA site visits, to attend national meetings

  • Familiarity with development of training materials and structure of workshops
