Simulation and Skills Lab Coordinator

Assists faculty in developing supportive teaching tools (i.e. posters, handouts, clinical simulations) to facilitate student learning. Implements clinical simulation and skills activities as integral part of the curriculum. Develops, presents, evaluates, and refines scenarios utilized for simulation experiences utilizing role playing, props and dialogue to create a realistic learning environment. Develops new simulation experiences based on student or faculty identified needs and serving as a resource for faculty utilizing simulation in classroom/lab activities. Collaborates with faculty to develop clearly defined learning outcomes for skills and simulation activities. Supports faculty with laboratory instruction. Develops, reviews and revises, in collaboration with faculty, policies and procedures related to the safe usage of equipment and lab space. Assists faculty with feedback and evaluation of activities and procedures in the lab. Assists students in realizing course objectives through utilization of Simulation.
