Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join American Axle & Manufacturing's (AAM) finance team. In this role, the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports to analyze and interpret financial results. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of financial reporting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and experience with ERP systems. They should also be highly organized, proactive, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance is also a must. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate financial reports to analyze and interpret financial results.
2. Develop and maintain key financial metrics and reports.
3. Monitor financial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
4. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
5. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
8. Develop and implement accounting process improvements.
9. Research and interpret accounting guidance.
10. Provide guidance and training to other team members.
