Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) team. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis of AAM’s financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, combined with excellent communication and organizational skills. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support the company’s financial goals. The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.To be considered for this role, qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, plus at least five years of experience in financial planning and analysis. A CPA or CMA designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting software.

Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain financial models to support financial planning and analysis -Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support company’s financial goals -Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making -Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and forecasts -Provide financial reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders -Develop and maintain financial analysis tools and processes -Identify and recommend process improvements to improve financial performance -Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management -Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of data -Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed
