CNC Machinist

American Axle & Manufacturing-AAM is looking for a highly motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent manual dexterity, and a willingness to learn. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who has a minimum of 2 years of experience with CNC machining and who is able to work independently. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for safely and accurately operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machinery to produce high-quality components for our manufacturing processes.The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tools. They will also be able to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy of the components being produced. The CNC Machinist must have the ability to work with a variety of metals, including aluminum, steel, brass, and other materials.
