Road Trip Planner

At American Automobile Association (AAA), we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Road Trip Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the best routes, attractions, and accommodations available, and will work to ensure that each journey meets the specific needs of our members.To be considered for this role, you will need a bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism or a closely related field, and at least two years of experience in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of geography and the local attractions in the areas you are planning for, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilites:

1. Develop and execute detailed and customized road trip plans for AAA members.
2. Research and identify the best routes, attractions, and accommodations available.
3. Ensure that each journey meets the specific needs of AAA members.
4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of geography and local attractions in the areas being planned for.
5. Maintain excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Provide customer service to AAA members.
8. Stay up to date with travel trends and destinations.
9. Develop relationships with key stakeholders related to planning road trips.
10. Ensure all trips are within budget parameters set by the organization.
