Claims Adjuster

At American Automobile Association (AAA), we are looking for a Claims Adjuster to join our team. This individual will be responsible for handling a variety of automobile-related claims for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a great customer service attitude.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in claims adjusting, with prior experience in the automobile insurance industry preferred. We are looking for someone who has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

1. Investigate and assess automobile-related insurance claims to determine validity and accuracy of the claim.
2. Negotiate and settle claims with claimants, policyholders, and other third-parties in a timely and professional manner.
3. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
4. Maintain knowledge of claim adjusting principles, practices, and procedures, as well as any state regulations relevant to automobile insurance.
5. Document all claim activities in accordance with company policy.
6. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing.
7. Analyze claim data and utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
9. Assist with the training and development of other claims adjusters.
10. Manage a high volume of claims and prioritize them based on urgency.
