Job Description

American Ambulance of Visalia utilizes Millennium Medical Billing, Inc., to handle all claims management. The billers operate computers, printers, fax machines, calculator and other office equipment to compile and compare customer charges for ambulance and event stand-by services. Billers compute costs, understand the medical bill coding specific to ambulance transportation and must have a grasp of medical terminology. The biller compiles data for billing, prepares invoices, works with health care agencies, health care systems and third-party insurance providers.
