- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for AMD's products and services, including user manuals, installation guides, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and consistency of technical content.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for a variety of audiences.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve technical documentation and support materials.
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Work closely with product development teams to understand new features and functionalities and incorporate them into technical documentation and support materials.
- Use various tools and software to create and publish technical content in various formats, such as online help, PDFs, and web-based documentation.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technical writers and application engineers.
- Continuously improve and streamline processes and procedures related to technical documentation and support.
- Represent AMD in a professional and knowledgeable manner to customers and partners.
- Adhere to company standards and guidelines for technical writing and documentation.
- Attend conferences and events to stay updated on industry developments and network with other professionals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in technical documentation and support processes, and implement necessary changes.
Bachelor's Degree In Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
3+ Years Of Experience In Technical Writing And/Or Application Engineering In The Semiconductor Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Amd Products, Software, And Technologies.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To A Non-Technical Audience.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Debug Technical Issues.
