Job Description

Interact with HW architects / designers to understand architecture clocking networks and structures and produce an associated set of software requirements. Ability to work independently to develop and validate a software implementation against technical specifications through unit and regression testing. Work cross-functionally with Physical Implementation Tool teams to ensure underlying Clocking Infrastructures and requirements are met and is optimized for compile time and memory. AMD is looking for a SW engineer with expertise in the Clocking domain critical for Next Generation Vivado tools.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Timing / Clocking domain and C++ Programming

  • BS with 8+ years of related experience or MS with 6+ years of related experience

  • Experience with TCL, Python, Perl is a plus

  • Knowledge of Digital Design and FPGA is a plus
