  1. Provide technical expertise and support to customers, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and features of AMD products.
  3. Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide customized solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during product implementation or usage.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements to provide relevant insights and recommendations to customers.
  7. Assist in the development and testing of new products and features, providing valuable feedback and suggestions.
  8. Train and mentor junior members of the field applications team and contribute to their technical growth.
  9. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
  10. Represent AMD at industry events and conferences, showcasing our products and networking with potential customers.
  11. Continuously improve and optimize AMD's technical support systems and processes.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to develop effective strategies and solutions for customers.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Technical Knowledge And Experience In The Semiconductor Industry: A Sr. Field Applications Engineer At Amd Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Semiconductor Market, Including Industry Trends, Technologies, And Products.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Sr. Field Applications Engineer Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues For Customers.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Both Internal Teams And External Customers, So Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Build Relationships Are Essential.

  • Project Management Experience: The Sr. Field Applications Engineer Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, So Experience In Project Management Is Important For Success In This Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field: A Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role, Along With Relevant Work Experience In The Semiconductor Industry. A Master's Degree May Also Be Preferred For More Senior Positions.
