  1. Design and develop RTL code for SerDes circuits and components.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and requirements for SerDes design.
  3. Utilize industry standard design methodologies and tools to implement high-quality RTL code.
  4. Conduct thorough design verification and debugging to ensure functionality and performance of SerDes designs.
  5. Identify and resolve design issues and propose innovative solutions to improve overall design quality.
  6. Stay updated with the latest advancements in SerDes technology and incorporate them into design projects.
  7. Work closely with physical design and verification teams to ensure successful integration of SerDes designs into larger systems.
  8. Generate and maintain design documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and test plans.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  10. Proactively identify and communicate potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party SerDes IP into AMD's designs.
  12. Continuously optimize and improve SerDes designs to meet performance, power, and area targets.
  13. Mentor and train junior engineers on SerDes design principles and methodologies.
  14. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality designs within specified deadlines.
  15. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SerDes design.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Eda Tools, Such As Cadence Or Synopsys.

  • Strong Understanding Of High-Speed Serial Communication Protocols, Such As Pcie, Usb, Sata, And Ethernet.

  • Experience With Rtl Design And Verification Using Verilog Or Vhdl.

  • Knowledge Of Signal Integrity And Power Integrity Analysis And Design Techniques For High-Speed Interfaces.
