  1. Design and implement data platform solutions that meet business needs and support company growth.
  2. Optimize data platform performance and scalability to ensure efficient and effective data management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  4. Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable and timely delivery of data.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data engineering to continuously improve the data platform.
  7. Mentor and guide junior team members to promote their professional growth and development.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high quality code.
  9. Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and help deliver actionable insights.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on data platform and address any concerns or issues.
  11. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data platform is compliant with company policies and standards.
  12. Document and maintain technical specifications and user guides for the data platform.
  13. Continuously assess and improve data governance policies and procedures.
  14. Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools and processes to streamline data management.
  15. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects related to data platform enhancements and upgrades.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Platform And Infrastructure Design And Implementation, Including Cloud-Based Solutions And Big Data Technologies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Complex Data Engineering Projects, From Conception To Deployment, Within Strict Timelines And Budget Constraints.

  • Strong Proficiency In Programming And Scripting Languages Such As Java, Python, And Sql, As Well As Experience With Data Warehousing And Etl Tools.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Security And Compliance Standards, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa, And Experience Implementing Data Governance Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. Previous Experience Mentoring And Coaching Junior Data Engineers Is Also Desirable.
