  1. Design and develop high-performance computing solutions using MLIR/LLVM for AMD's products and services.
  2. Conduct research and analyze market trends to identify potential areas for improvement and innovation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into software development requirements.
  4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets performance and quality standards.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code and propose solutions to improve functionality.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MLIR/LLVM and incorporate them into development processes.
  7. Mentor and guide junior software engineers in the team, providing technical expertise and support.
  8. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  9. Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  10. Collaborate with product management and other teams to plan and prioritize software development projects.
  11. Communicate project progress, issues, and roadblocks to stakeholders and suggest strategies for resolution.
  12. Adhere to established development processes and best practices to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency and quality.
  14. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Senior Software Development Engineer For Mlir/Llvm At Amd Should Have A Strong Background In Software Development, With At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience. This Includes Experience In Developing Complex Software Systems, Preferably In The Field Of Compilers Or Programming Languages.

  • Proficiency In Mlir And Llvm: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Mlir And Llvm, Along With Hands-On Experience In Using Them For Developing Software Applications. They Should Be Familiar With The Codebase And Have A Strong Understanding Of The Architecture And Design Principles.

  • Strong Programming Skills: A Senior Software Development Engineer For Mlir/Llvm At Amd Should Be Proficient In Multiple Programming Languages, Including C++, Python, And Llvm Ir. They Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Data Structures, Algorithms, And Software Design Patterns.

  • Knowledge Of Machine Learning And Artificial Intelligence: As Mlir/Llvm Are Widely Used In The Field Of Machine Learning And Artificial Intelligence, The Ideal Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In These Areas. They Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Neural Networks, Deep Learning, And Other Ml Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Software Development Team, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team Environment, Mentor Junior Developers, And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
